    Description

Literally found in the attic of an old house, and they LOOK it.  Despite the damage, there is still MUCH content to appreciate in these, many of which have NEVER been cut for reading (they were originally printed 4 sheets a page, the consumer would then cut the portions when they read the papers.   These were NEVER bound.  They are NOT reprints, either.
Expect damage as shown.  They do NOT smell like anything other than dust, and even that is very faint.  I have another lot up this week as well, I always combine shipping, just WAIT for the invoice.
These ALL date from late 1865-early 66.  Much talk about the search for the Lincoln conspirators, reconstruction, the state of the South, soldiers of both sides coming home, and so forth.
