1963 Ford Fairlane

I bought this car to clone it similar to the last photo but my dream car came my way recently so this one is on the chopping block . This car is just as you see it, a project that had some rust repair above the tires and the lower front fenders. If you know 63 fairlanes, they seemingly all rust there. It has the 260 v8 automatic trans. It has a new generator, voltage regulator, and wiring harness between the two that I installed along with a new interstate battery. It has a new aluminum radiator,new carb, HEI distributor, and electric fan put on by previous owner.  Original radiator and fan are in the trunk. There isnt any rust other than whats mentioned. It runs excellent... Like a sewing machine. It drives although the brakes are a bit hard. I have not driven it very far, around the neighborhood, because to me its a project for a 347 stroker and manual trans. I did buy a top loader 3 speed with bell housing and shifter and was going to convert until my dream car came along so time and efforts went away from this one. This car is a running driving project that needs cosmetic restoration to get rid of that gawd awful 2 tone and some minor mechanical. Nice floors and shock towers, Colorado car so they dont rust like the midwest cars in my opinion...Im from Illinois so have experienced the difference. If you have any questions ask. Im retired and do not have to lie about the car to sell it. I just might not get to it for years nor do I have room in my garage.
