This 1969 Ford Torino Cobra is in spectacular condition having recently underwent a complete rotisserie restoration. This particular R-Code Cobra 2 Door SportsRoof is a well documented example with a Marti Report and Build Sheet, and comes to us out of Texas. Under the hood is a Big Block 428 Cubic Inch Cobra Jet V8 that has been bored out 0.030 inches and has the Cobra Jet cast iron headers. The 428 Cobra Jet motor also features a number of performance upgrades including an Isky mechanical cam with solid tappets, Dove roller rockers, and a 7-quart Cobra oil pan. Perhaps the most notable performance oriented upgrade are the dual 4 barrel Holley carburetors mounted to the 427 Low-Rise dual quad intake manifold, which provide a bit more muscle to an already powerful Ford muscle car. This Torino also features an upgraded Top-Loader 4 Speed Manual transmission that, with the floor-mounted Hurst shifter, makes for a really fun classic car to drive. Dual exhaust gives this classic Cobra a really nice sound going down the road. The exterior of this Torino Cobra is absolutely stunning! This Torino has been refinished in its original color, Candyapple Red (Ford #2008-A) and the paint is in excellent condition. The Cobra decals on the front quarter panels are also in fantastic shape. The exterior chrome and brightwork look to be in amazing, show-quality condition. With Factory Power Steering and Factory Power Front Disc Brakes, this well-optioned Torino Fastback is an absolute pleasure to drive. BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires and upgraded chrome plated steel rims with center caps and beauty rings complete the exterior look on this R-Code Torino Cobra. The interior on this SportsRoof Torino Cobra is also superb. The upgraded Black Vinyl Front Bucket Seats, the rear Black Vinyl Bench Seat, and Black Carpeting look to be brand new! The padded dash and steering wheel are in excellent shape and appear to be in their stock configuration. The 4 stock gauge pots feature a temperature light, gas gauge, speedometer, oil pressure light, amp light, and an upgraded Ford Performance Parts tachometer.
