    Vehicle Details
I bought this 1976 Ford short bed for my son when he turned 16. I drove from Ohio down to Roanoke, VA and brought the truck from an older gentleman in his 80’s. He said the truck had sit for close to 10 years. I hauled it home, put a new gas tank on it, sending unit, rebuilt the carburetor, new fuel pump, had brake work done, had the heads gone through, put a new exhaust manifold gasket, and had a nice stereo and speakers put in. Then we had the transmission rebuilt professionally. I have the receipt for that. The is not a perfect truck. It has a little rust above the wheel well on the bed. One of the cab mounts has some rust but is solid. The bed had a bed mat in it and there’s a few pen holes in the bed. I’ve tried to provide pictures of the rust. For the most part, the truck is very solid and it doesn’t have replacement panels in it. It’s an original truck. It is a Ranger XLT with every extra possible I believe. It does have AC but we never charged the air to make it work. We did not cut up the dash for the stereo. It looks and sounds great. Right now the hubcaps are on the truck with new tires. When my son was driving it, it had slotted mags. You can pick the set you want. My son is starting College and he needs the money and a more practical vehicle. I can send videos or pictures if you contact me. It has a 360 and a C6 transmission. The interior is in great shape. The seat must have been redone at some point. This truck will turn heads. Very shape.
