INCREDIBLY RARE NEWSPAPER FROM HUNTINGBURG (IN) FROM 1897! COMPLETELY IN GERMAN!

This listing is for an incredibly old and RARE newspaper from Huntingburg, Indiana.  There are two things that make this newspaper an amazing and incredible find.  First it is from 1897!  Well over a CENTURY old - 121 years old to be exact! Amazing...and VERY rare! Additionally, and just as rare & amazing - is that it's completely in GERMAN!  Dubois County, Indiana (Huntingburg & Jasper & Holland) had a very heavy German presence around the turn of the century (and still does).  My Mother's side of the family was from Huntingburg, and this newspaper was just discovered a couple weeks ago when my sister and I cleaned out an old trunk.  I am very much into history, and was absolutely stunned by this discovery.  This is NOT a replica.  It is a genuine newspaper from 1897!  This newspaper remained a German-language newspaper until 1914 (the beginning if WW I).  Newspaper is 8 pages, and there is some yellowing and it's a little rough, mainly around the edges.  But for 121 years old, it is excellent!  So please look over the listing pictures closely as this item  is being sold 'as-is'.  A very RARE and HISTORICAL item that most likely will never be offered again, so don't miss this opportunity!
