    Description

    This is an old pre WWII, Daisy model 27, 500 shot, BB gun, made in Plymouth, MI.
    I believe this model was made between 1927-1936. This gun cocks with a reverse from normal, which I have never seen in another Daisy. It powers as the lever is pulled back. Highly unusual design.
    Has the "oil here" noted on it which wasn't on all of these models as I understand it. Has what is a newer screw where the barrel would slide into the receiver. In overall age appropriate condition.
    The bb gun shoots good but sometimes will shoot more than 1 bb at a time. The shot tube does not have holes or a bracket for a retainer spring as seen. No cracks in the wood but it does have the initials HS in the left side. Rare gun.
